My Hero — Lucille Fox

I met Lucille on Honor Flight of West Central Florida,  Mission 26. I had the honor of being Lucille’s friend and guardian during our trip to Washington, D.C. Lucille served in WWII as a Teletype Operator. She was stationed in France and England. And was also sent to Germany after the war.

 

When she ended her tour of duty, she used her teletype skills to work for Pan American Airlines. This amazing woman is inspiring and a true hero. Thank you Lucille for serving our Country. Truly, the Greatest Generation! I recommend that everyone should volunteer as a guardian for an Honor Flight. The experience will change your life.
